Desire to Create

This work, though somewhat mysterious and almost mischievous, is not that at all. I wanted it to look that way in order to see the viewer’s interpretation, like a prank, when in truth it is me... me made of paint, like a giant, like a child creating with modelling clay, blinded by my passion and obsession with creating. And I feel so giant when I create, so naive and so much a child at the same time.

How I loved playing with my toys as a boy. Now my toys are my paints, my brushes, my palettes, my violin, my guitar. We are all still playing, we will always be children, and one day we will be every age at once. How wonderful it is to live, how wonderful it is to keep playing.
